Kimbal Quist Bumstead

Kimbal Quist Bumstead is a multi-disciplinary artist, working in and between painting, drawing, performance, video and sound, currently living in York, UK. Bumstead works across a broad range of media and disciplines including painting, drawing, video, performance and sound, sometimes on their own and sometimes in conjunction with each other. Bumstead’s artwork explores notions of imagined and re-imagined landscapes, abstraction as a form of storytelling, and mark-making as a tool to tune-in to sensory, emotional and embodied experiences.
