ICF is hosting an online Q&A session over Zoom to provide a briefing on the Ten.8 Research and Curatorial Fellowship and to answer any questions you have about the opportunity or application process. Join us for the discussion on Monday 10 June, 1-2pm UK time.
About the Fellowship:
ICF is seeking applications from UK-based Black or Brown emerging / early career curators with an interest in working on an exciting, new project addressing the legacy and contemporary relevance of Ten.8 Magazine.
ICF will support the selected curator to engage with the archive of Ten.8 magazine to inform the development of a series of project outputs, presented in partnership with The New Art Gallery Walsall and The Photographers’ Gallery.
The Ten.8 Research & Curatorial Fellowship offers a chance to:
- Curate an event at The Photographers’ Gallery to correspond with an archival exhibition on Ten.8 in 2025
- Curate a major exhibition at The New Art Gallery Walsall in 2026
- Engage in digital programming activating the Ten.8 archive
- Contribute to a new publication on Ten.8’s legacy
Details of Fellowship:
Part-time, flexible but equivalent to two days per week
1.5 year contract, beginning in October 2024
Annual Fee: £20,000
Location: London, the West Midlands and some remote working
